A little About Me

Just a glimpse..

I am Maryssa, born and raised in Elk Grove, California and now raising my babies here. It is a family-friendly city right outside of Sacramento, and if you did not know, that's the capital of CA! I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University - Go Sun Devils! I have a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies with a concentration in Workplace Learning. I always thought I had become a teacher, but my life ended up a little different than the plan in my head. I have been an Executive Administrative Assistant for the past 3 years, and I love what I do! During the pandemic I was sent home to work, and I have not gone back since. That is 15 months of working from home with three kids - let us just say that coffee is my saving grace.

I have been married for almost 4 years to Tim who I met in high school 10 years ago. We started dating 9 years ago and he is my absolute best friend in the whole world. I think it is true that when you have found your person, you just know. We share 3 babies together - Olivia (7), Jackson (5), and Joseph (1). Our story is not traditional but that is what makes it special. I will save the details for a blog post. If you did the math, then you know I am in my late 20's and one thing to know about me is I love the idea of growing older. We will talk about that a lot. Whether you are here to relate through motherhood or life, I promise to always keep it real. I will share the good, the bad, and all the stuff in-betweens.
